George Watts is extremely proud of our teachers and volunteers as they oversee the 3rd year of the Peaceful Planet Program. Ms. Musawwir created this program in order to give students an opportunity to increase their reading proficiency as well as learn valuable life skills. They have opportunites to take field trips to see visual examples of lessons they learn throughout the week. Please take a moment to check out an article that highlights the success of Paceful Planet.
George Watts has several new faces being added to the team for the 2017-2018 school year. We know some parents may not be familiar with all the people that are on the George Watts staff, therefore, we wanted to show you the new and old faces of George Watts. Below are some photos of staff at Watts. Each picture is occupied with a name and position for each staff member: (THIS POST WILL BE UNDER CONSTRUCTION)
On June 7th 2017, there was a playground dedication ceremony held on the Watts playground. This ceremony honored a former student that passed away. Students, staff, and parents spoke about the impact Leo Bortiri had on their lives and a plaque was dedicated in his honor. If you follow the link below, you will see some of the photographs taken at this event.
This cool countdown board was made by Maggie Holsapple 4th grade Ms. Oakeley’s class.
